This calculator allows you to calculate and find your eDPI (effective dots per inch) for every game. Simply enter your basic inputs and the calculator will calculate and display your results instantly.
How to use this calculator
To use the calculator, first select your type of game sensitivity; decimal number or percentage. If you aren’t sure what type of sensitivity you need to select, simply go into the game that you want to calculate for, find your sensitivity in the settings, and check whether its a decimal number / whole number or a percentage based sensitivity.
Once you select the type of sensitivity, enter your in-game sensitivity for that specific game, as well as your mouse DPI. After that, you’ll see your calculated eDPI result display highlighted in the calculator.
What is eDPI?
eDPI (effective dots per inch) is the measurement of your true game sensitivity based on multiplying game sensitivity and DPI together. effective dots per inch is calculated by using this formula: eDPI = sensitivity * DPI
The reason why eDPI is important is because it makes it easier to compare sensitivity speeds with others. Rather than using two separate figures, it simplifies and combines them both into one easy to understand value of sensitivity speed. In the case of eDPI, the higher the number means the faster the speed, and the lower the number, the slower the speed.
Keep in mind that does eDPI varies between games, meaning your eDPI in one game may not be the same as another game.
